The Psychology of Wellbeing Series

Most self-help books promise transformation. This series doesn't. It offers something more useful: honest, clinically grounded psychoeducation for neurodivergent adults who are tired of being handed frameworks that weren't built for their brains.

The Psychology of Wellbeing Series is seven books, each addressing a different territory where neurodivergent people consistently find themselves under-served, misunderstood, or handed explanations that don't quite fit. Written by a clinical psychologist with over twenty-six years of experience — and a late-diagnosed AuDHD person herself — every book in this series is grounded in current research, drawn from real clinical work, and written without toxic positivity, superpower narratives, or the pretence that any of this is simple.

The books can be read in any order. Each stands alone. Together, they form a complete map of the internal and external work involved in building a life that genuinely fits the brain you have.

Quiet the Noise — anxiety, overthinking, and the neurodivergent nervous system

Burnout to Balance — why neurodivergent burnout is different, and what recovery actually requires

Focus and Flourish — ADHD, self-esteem, and the gap between capability and consistency

Embracing Diversity: The Authentic You — masking, shame, late diagnosis, and the archaeology of identity

The Loneliness Breakthrough — social connection, belonging, and what gets in the way

Reclaiming You — recovery and rebuilding after eating disorders

The Trauma You Carry — understanding trauma, its nervous system signature, and the non-linear work of healing

No morning routines. No five-step fixes. No pretending the world has caught up.

Just the honest, evidence-based work — offered to the reader who is capable of handling accurate information about their own experience, and who deserves nothing less.
