The RSD Files

The RSD Files is a nonfiction series written by clinical psychologist Dr Melanie du Preez — an ADHD specialist, BWRT practitioner, and late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman with 26 years of practice.

Each book in the series addresses one context in which Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria operates: the self, the relationship, the workplace, the body, the next generation. Each is written from the same position — both sides of the consulting room — and in the same voice: dry, honest, clinically grounded, and deliberately free of toxic positivity.

This is not a workbook series. There are no fill-in prompts, no transformation promises, and no suggestions that RSD is a gift waiting to be unwrapped. What there is: a name for the thing, a neurological map, and the specific relief of finally being written for accurately.

Most books would split that into four tidy chapters and pretend the boundaries hold. They...
